About: When a pompous phonetics expert bets that he can teach a Cockney flower girl to act and speak like a lady, he gets more than he bargained for: Eliza Doolittle provokes his interest, his anger, and ultimately, his passion. As her lessons progress, it becomes obvious that it is Henry who has the most to learn about bad behavior.
Fun Facts: • Claire was offered the role of Eliza
• To practice on her dialect she watched British comedies like "Little Britain" and "Nighty Night"
• Claire and Jefferson are the only cast members in the play who have not see "My Fair Lady."
• Pygmalion is Claire's is first broadway debut.
Quotes: "I was working on the Cockney accent and it's really tough. I've tackled standard British accents twice now in Stage Beauty and Stardust so it's not completely alien, but this was different. I worked with a dialect coach on Stardust and she suggested I watch British television comedies and I did and became obsessed with them because they're great. Now I love Catherine Tate and Little Britain and Green Wing and a show called Nighty Night."

"It’s the best makeover story of all time."
