I believe I had announced this before, but now more oficially, guys I just created a youtube account for CDF, where I will be uploading videos for you guys. I decided to upload Homeland’s episodes for those of you who can’t follow it on tv nor can download. You can check the page regularly as I will be uploading videos daily. If there’s anything you’d like to see in particular, just drop me a comment or a message and I’ll make sure to get it for you
Finally I have managed to download, cap and upload the missing homeland episodes. Since it’s a lot, I opted by uploading 2 episodes today and the rest tomorrow. Episodes 6 ‘The Good Soldier’ and 7 ‘The Weekend’ are now available on our gallery.
The Good Soldier
The Weekend
There’s some sexual content images on both these episodes, thought I should warn you before opening the albums!
“Homeland,” the standout TV drama of the season, has a number of impressive qualities. It’s a twisty thriller with deep characterization. It has brought Claire Danes’ amazing cry-face back to television. It offers Showtime subscribers a brand-new traumatized, redheaded anti-hero just as “Dexter” went into a tailspin. It made me have the actual thought: “Man, that Mandy Patinkin is one subtle actor.”
But what I love most about “Homeland” is the way it acts as an apology for “24.” The show was created by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa, former writers for that series. (Gordon created the plot arcs for Seasons 3 and 4, and he was the showrunner from 2006 to 2009.) Their previous hit was popular for good reason: it was a well-made fun machine, a sleek right-wing dreamscape with just enough moral ambiguity to elevate it above a Road Runner cartoon. Unfortunately, “24” was also a carrier for some terrible ideas, among them the notion that torture is the best and only way to get information; that Muslim faith and terrorist aims overlap by definition; and, most of all, that invulnerability is the mark of heroism. Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer was tortured again and again, but he always bounced up, jack-in-the-box style, to waterboard on. Characters surrounding Bauer did occasionally argue with the show’s premises. But most of them were A.C.L.U. types who wouldn’t know a ticking time bomb if it kicked them in the face.
Over the past few years, Claire Danes has found major success in television. Last year, Danes received some of the best reviews of her career starring in the HBO movie Temple Grandin. She currently stars in the Showtime CIA drama, Homeland, which has won over audiences and critics alike.
Before her recent television success, Danes starred on the teenage television drama My So-Called Life from 1994 to 1995, where she played Angela Chase, a sophomore high school student trying to find herself. The show dealt with issues which until then, were rarely shown on television. At that time, Danes was 14 years old and won a Golden Globe award and an Emmy nomination for her role on the show. Despite all the accolades the show received, it was canceled after one season, and rumors had it that producers blamed Danes for not wanting to return for the second season. To this day, she is asked about why the show did not continue. Danes states that the show was troubled from the start, and that she is not responsible for its demise. Finally got to add photos of Claire attending “An Evening With Patti Lupone And Mandy Patinkin” Broadway Opening Night on last November 21st in New York.
I’m guessing by Sunday I will be done with my room renovations so I should be able to update the gallery with the missing Homeland captures!
Vibrant red lips are always classic and Claire Danes pulls the look off beautifully while attending the opening night of An Evening With Patti Lupone and Mandy Patinkin on Broadway.
To recreate her sexy style while ensuring you’ll find the right red, try Ultraflesh Perfect Reds 6-Piece Set. The collection contains matte and gloss mini lipsticks with three shades in two finishes.
Before applying lipstick, using a lip pencil in a similar shade will help create a more precise lip line and keep a strong color from bleeding. When adding the lipstick, using a lip brush vs. sweeping on color directly from the tube will make application much easier.
The site is going to be in a really short hiatus for 1 week from now. I currently am having some renovation works at home/bedroom and I have my desktop computer stored in a box so I can’t work on the site. I am on my laptop now but I can’t do much from here, since all my site info and passwords are on my main computer.
I am sorry guys but I won’t be able to do anything before next weekend, if things go as I expect. I also know that I am late on doing Homeland captures, but these will all be uploaded as soon as I get my computer back.
If you guys need anything just leave me a comment, with my laptop I will be able to check the site at least once a day!
