Guys as you can see I have been working on our gallery – loads needs to be done! I started out by sorting each and every photoshoot by year, which I believe, is a better way to categorize! Unfortunately I don’t have information on all photoshoots Claire did so far, so this is a work in progress. Meanwhile researching, I came across some shoots & magazine scans we were missing so here’s some previews, I’m sure you’ll like!

Just when we thought we couldn’t love Claire Danes any more, she goes and does an awesome shoot with ASOS that sees her rocking tropical prints, acid wash jeans and slicked-back hair (very un-Carrie Mathison of ‘Homeland’, right?).

And, she’s not finished. Ms Danes is now sporting Hollywood tousles, diamonds and a bedsheet for Vanity Fair’s latest issue. Doesn’t she look fab? And because it’s their May 2012 TV special, Claire shares the cover with ‘The Good Wife’s’ Julianna Marguilies, ‘Modern Family’s’ Sofia Vergara and our very own ‘Downton Abbey’ Brit, Michelle Dockery (phewf!) – all shot by photographer Norman Jean Roy.

Claire covers ASOS magazine May issue – finally a new photoshoot! I love the new shoot, simply wonderful! Here are some of the interview highlights and first photos were added to the gallery!

Just a few months removed from garnering the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Drama Series, the seemingly flawless Claire Danes was chosen to grace the cover of the May 2012 issue of ASOS.

The casually-clad 32-year-old actress sported a Vintage Navy Field Tee with Ashish Dot Sequin Shorts for the Danielle Levitt shot front page while talking with the magazine about everything from being lonely as a teenager in Tinseltown to her award-winning role in “Homeland”.

On her love of the show ‘The Only Way Is Essex’:
“Damn, I love that show. It’s just so good. We don’t have anything that rivals it. I don’t even care if it’s real or not, it’s thoroughly entertaining.”

On signing up to star in ‘Homeland’:
“It was a leap of faith for all of us. We only had the faintest sense of where the writers were going to take the story, and I think they were discovering it themselves as they went along, which is one of the reasons television can be so exciting. But it’s always just such a relief when a story that you care about and a character that you’ve worked so terribly hard to create manages to translate.”

On her teenage years in the spotlight:
“It was lonely in a lot of ways. I was in a very adult world, and didn’t go to a conventional high school, but I was lucky and I worked with responsible people who never exploited me as a kid.”

on where her fashion sense come from:
“Narcisco Rodriguez was my first fashion big brother. He made my wedding dress, which was wonderful. And we’re friends with Valentino, I mean, we are friends with him! I adore him.”

Also, sadly the photos used are from an old photoshoot, so nothing new, yet Claire is always stunning to see!

The first time Claire Danes won a Golden Globe, in 1995, for the role of Angela Chase in My So-Called Life, she was 15 and made an adorably gauche acceptance speech (‘I thought it would be great to be natural and spontaneous, but that really wasn’t a good idea’), then burst into tears offstage, because she’d forgotten to thank her parents.

Seventeen years later, in January this year, aged 32, she accepted her third Best Actress Golden Globe for Homeland (she won her second in 2011 for the title role in the biopic Temple Grandin) in a sleek, black and white J Mendel dress. She was obviously moved, but poised, as she apologised to her parents for blanking them first time around and thanked her ‘newish’ husband, Hugh Dancy, ‘who keeps me sane and happy, as I play somebody who is not so sane and often not so happy.’

Claire was not a guest at yesterday’s 84th Annual Academy Awards but she did attend two parties after the big event. I added some photos from both to our gallery, I’ll have more to be added later! I didn’t know she was attending any of these parties that’s why I didn’t prepare myself to look for photos nor watched the whole ceremony. Here’s the ones I got so far, more coverage later today!
