This year I’d like to start a new project here on CDF as a way to interact more with our fans. As you might already know, this is the most popular Claire Danes Fansite and we get hundreds of daily visits.

On next April 12th, Claire will be celebrating her 32nd birthday and I thought that fans could all get together and send her a gift. As many other fansites have done before, we are supposed to gather photos, drawings, poems, messages, videos, anything you can think of, then create a nice portfolio/book and have it sent to Claire.

I was thinking in mainly doing 3 things: a dedication book, an audio cd and a dvd. Let me explain:

Dedication Book could contain messages from all fans, poems, collages, emails, dedicatories, lyrics, quotes, anything that we could use to decorate the book.

Cd Audio a nice idea would be to record voice messages from fans and burn them in a disc, as well as you could suggest songs that would fit Claire, maybe tracks from her movie sountracks, anything in this style.

DVD on the dvd my idea was to gather video messages from fan, fan videos, clips from our favorite performances of her and any other ideas you might have.

After you’ve been registered as a member of the Bday Project, I will email you back to discuss what is it that you want to sent and how you can do it. I also would love to put up a new layout on her birthday, but I am short on money and I’m working full time, I don’t have time to do it myself, so if anyone would like to donate a few dollars to help me buy a new layout, I’d be eternally grateful!
