I’m writing this post to give you, unfortunately, sad news. I am leaving CDF and not for a while this time, I am definitely leaving it. After considering for a while, I decided to cut down on my sites, if not in all of them, since fan sites running just doesn’t feel fun for me anymore; I see it as a waste of my time and as a 22 year old I feel like I need to do other things than spend my free time on a computer.

This decision has nothing to do with Claire, I’ll keep on watching her films, visiting the site to get news and pictures but I won’t update nor working on it anymore. I have informed Sofia of my decision and we both thought I should make a post here.

So the future of CDF is now in her hands, I hope she keeps on doing a great job with the site and it was really nice and pleasant to work on this site for the time I have. See you all someday!

Yesterday I made a quite big gallery update, over 300 photos have been added, mostly additions to events we already had and some new we were missing. I have a lot more downloaded on my computer but I am having problems with my internet, it takes me 5 minutes to upload a single photo, so I won’t be able to finish them today. I would like to apologize for the lack of updates but I have been very sick and there’s life beyond the computer too, although I wish I could update more often. Anyway, after this little “vent” here’s some previews of my latest photo additions.

Claire has been very busy lately, attending loads of events as well as promoting Me & Orson Welles. I have just added some photos from the various premieres and screenings to the site, as well as a few posters and a still. Guys I’m back. I had some exam yesterday that’s why I have been away. I have a lot to catch up on Claire, she recently attended “Me and Orson Welles” premiere in London, I will get us pictures from that event tomorrow, I promise! I know you all must wonder why there’s such lack of updates but both me and Sofia have lives, and as much as we love the site, sometimes it’s just not possible, so please have patience.

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Claire Danes was spotted arriving at the 18th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards in Century City, California last night (November 5).

The “My So-Called Life” babe looked lovely as she made her way inside the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, sporting a beautiful black and white dress with black peep-toe heels.

In related news, Claire’s new project “Temple Grandin” is the true story of the scientist whose own autism allowed her unique insights into the behavior of cows and other livestock.

She told press, “They had long lashes and were so sweet. They were referred to as the HBO Cows because it was cheaper for HBO to buy them than rent them. So I dressed on Halloween as an HBO Cow. With an extension chord as a tail.”

Zac Efron was in way over his head when he heard that Claire Danes would be playing his love interest in Richard Linklater’s Me & Orson Welles.

The 21-year-old actor dishes to Blackbook mag, “I was intimidated, even just the name Claire Danes carries such weight with it. I needed to be a worthy love interest in the film and I didn’t know that I had any of the qualities necessary to woo a girl like her.”

Zac continued, “Claire and I were trapped on an island together with nowhere to go for four weeks, like a reality show. My character was supposed to fall in love, but she was also supposed to be out of his league. After meeting Claire, that was definitely the way it was supposed to be.”
